Divine Child Jesus, we commend to You our beloved Mother Angelica whom You have called from this life.

You chose her to do many great works in this life. You asked her to build You a temple. With Your help, she built this temple and dedicated it to You, Divine Child Jesus.

Remember her love for You while on earth. Remember her efforts in trying to lead many souls to love You, to know the truth, and to see and appreciate the beauty of Your Catholic Church. Remember her many sufferings in this life which she united with Your own for the salvation and sanctification of herself and so many souls.

Forgive all of her sins, the good she did poorly, and the good she failed to do. We commend to You her body and soul. O Divine Child Jesus, lead her joyfully to the Father’s House, the Eternal Temple of the Heavenly Jerusalem. We ask all this through Our Lady’s powerful intercession and in Your Holy Name, Jesus, who live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, Lord, forever and ever. Amen.
